A handwritten message attributed to Ali Larijani was published on his official account on X, offering condolences for Iranian military casualties, shortly after Tel Aviv announced the alleged assassination of the senior Iranian official.
In the note, released on the eve of a funeral for what he described as “naval heroes,” Larijani wrote, “Their memory will remain forever in the hearts of the Iranian people, and their sacrifice will strengthen the foundations of the armed forces for years to come.”
Larijani concluded by praying for the fallen, asking God to grant them mercy and a place in paradise.
The message comes amid conflicting reports regarding his fate, with no official confirmation issued by Iranian authorities.
